Proxy voting guidelines:

1. Only property owners may vote by proxy.  These are individuals whose name(s) appear on the deed to property located within the confines of Columbia Beach.
2. Proxy requests must be received by the Secretary or the President of the Association 10 days prior to the scheduled meeting date.
3. Multiple proxies are not permitted.  Multiple proxies constitute the following:
   1. One individual holding a proxy for multiple property owners (e.g. one person holding a proxy for a husband and a wife property owners)
   2. Granting proxies for an unspecified amount of time.  (Each meeting requires new proxy documentation).
   3. More than one individual holding a property owner’s proxy for a given meeting.
4. A proxy request is good for a specified meeting and that meeting only.
5. If votes are confidential, then proxies are also confidential.  If votes are public, then proxies are also public.
